Guaranty Trust Assurance over the weekend sponsored the Indigenous Ship Owners Association of Nigeria's (ISAN) New Year party.

The event which was held at the Civic Centre Victoria Island kicked off about 4pm. It was a gathering of top Nigerian ship owners, high networth individuals and government officials.

The high point of the evening was the presentation of the Indigenous ship owners' award to the oldest Nigerian ship owner, 96 year old Pa Dr. John Adewunmi Sodipo.

The event was well attended and GTAssur plc was represented by Yomi, Mayowa and Uzoh.
